Light is returning

Blue skies above Övedskloster

It is not exactly a world-shattering piece of news that when the calendar turns from February to March to April the days get longer and the light returns. This year though it feels different; it feels more important to notice the light coming back, because it signifies a symbolic return to normal…eventually. It is nature’s promise that even though the winter was bleak there is lighter times ahead. So I enjoy being outdoors seeing that the light is back here again with us!

There is no specific theme to this blog post more than a collection of pictures taken in the last few weeks, in the increasing spring light. I am slowly getting back to posting to this blog again, so for this post I am sharing a selection of images from outings I’ve done since my last post, including one afternoon at the coast at the Ribersborg beach area in Malmö, a brief stroll in the Dalby Söderskog National Park and a walkaround in the gardens of the 18th century manor house at Övedskloster.
