October in the city
There’s been a lull in my photography again this year, once again due to illness in the family, but that is okay. I would be a pretty shitty family member if I didn’t put the camera down and focus on what’s important after all! However I did have the opportunity to take a few photos when my photo club had a bit of a photo challenge around the Davidshall square in Malmö, Sweden on a pretty chilly October Saturday afternoon.
It was very cold in the morning, but by the time we gathered in the square it was warm enough for some to enjoy the October sunshine.
We received a list of words and hints that one member had put together and our task was to find the locations and items he’d written the hints for. It was a fun hour or so spent looking high and low for what he’d come up with and while I didn’t necessarily find exactly what he was looking for I did come up with (very) creative intepretations for a few of them. It’ll be interesting to see the others’ interpretations at some point in the future. These are some of the images, and a few additional ones I took just for my own benefit. I will not provide the keywords/hints though because I don’t think they translate particularly well into English.
