There's images out in them streets!
So far 2024 has been a very low-volume year for me when it comes to photography. I guess I hit that mid-winter slump that usually strikes when the light is almost non-existent and the weather seems determined to be the worst it possibly can be. So I am okay with there being a lull now and then (I’ve written about it several times before in this blog so I won’t dwell on it in this post. That was why I decided to hop on a bus into the center of Malmö for a stroll down my usual “hunting ground” in the downtown area.
Street Photography at the Market
2017 has been an interesting year for me photographically so far. I don't think I've taken as few pictures with a digital camera since at least 2005. However I am not at all troubled by that, because I've done quite a bit of analog photography so far this year. I've yet to develop the films so it'll be interesting to see how bad I've managed to screw it up so far!
More Copenhagen pictures
I had the privilege of visiting the Danish capital across the water two Saturdays in a row, so I got quite a few pictures, both during the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk (which I've written about in an entry two weeks ago) as well as an outing there with my fellow board members of my photo club. So I'm sharing some street scenes from the latter trip today.
Summer in the City
Last Sunday I felt It was time to do another stroll in the city of Malmö to capture whatever struck my fancy and while it wasn't the most well-populated streets I think I found a few interesting things to take pictures of; among tourists, bicycles, pedal boats in the canal and wall murals, to name a few.
Copenhagen in black and white
The weather has not been especially good for photography in the last week. Great for gardens and farmers in need of irrigation, but not so much for those of us with itchy photography fingers! And it is still pouring down as I write these words, so this week's post is from a day trip to Copenhagen from a few weekends ago.
