Photowalking an empty beach

June 29, 2015 in Photography, Cell Phone

This summer has been really crappy weather wise, but this weekend it worked to my favor as I took part in a photowalk at the Ribersborg beach. Had it been a "normal" summer this area would have been so full of swimmers and sunbathers that it'd be difficult to walk around without risking stepping on someone's towel...or face!

Not so right now as can be seen in these photos! I rather enjoyed it this way I must admit, since it gave us wide open spaces to explore photographically. There was plenty of action anyway when we got near the dogs' part of the beach where dogs and owners are allowed to roam as free as the owners are comfortable letting their fourlegged family members be.

This was setup as a photowalk mostly aimed at cell phone photography, but after looking at the shots I got with my HTC One I've decided to share only the ones I took with my DSLR. Can't land keepers all the time I suppose (and even less so with a phone that you can barely see the screen on in tricky lighting conditions!).
