There’s been a bit of an unintentional hiatus due to medical issues in my immediate family (most of which are thankfully on the mend now). I’ve not done a whole lot of photography lately; somehow the snapping of pictures isn’t all that important when such things happen…however, saying that I have done at least a few snapshots that I want to share in this post.
Late March and April are the months when the grip of winter is finally over in Sweden and the light and (eventually) warmth of spring kick into full gear. The colors start to shift from gray and brown to green and all the colors of the rainbow with all the flowers blooming and for a photographer it is a great change! Not to mention you don’t risk freezing various extremities off anymore when you’re out and about to take landscape photos.
The pictures in this post are all taken in the city of Malmö, Sweden where I do most of my photography. One of the local slogans is the city calling itself the City of Parks (“Parkernas stad”) and at this time of year all the emerging greens, reds and other colors do their best to prove that an accurate slogan.
