Walking woods of gold

Late September into early November is “leaf peeping” season in southern Sweden so on the last day of October I too had to “follow the tradition”. I headed to the nearby Dalby Söderskog National Park, which boasts being Europe’s smallest national park. It certainly doesn’t take long to take the 2 mile path going all around the park, but I did take my time snapping away with my camera. The light conditions were shifting from cloudy to sunny from moment to moment so I had lots of opportunities to take different types of pictures.

The view from the park parking lot is pretty nice too, with the plains towards Malmö miles away towards the horizon. Soon all the leaves will have fallen off, but for a few weeks we get to enjoy quite the colorful spectacle!
