April 3 - Day 94: Vines
Another month has gone by on my year-long project of shooting, editing and posting an image every single day of 2016. We're now into the month of May which means it is time to sum up the last month with a few selected pictures.

This weekend was another one with lots of good time nvolving photography. At first there was the monthly get-together with fellow Facebook group members at a local café, where we spend a few hours hanging out and talking about whatever we come up with, and then I joined an interesting World Wide Instameet get-together for a stroll through the parks of Malmö, while shooting a pic here and there.

This weekend I was at a photowalk in Trelleborg, a small town on the southernmost coast of Sweden. I was kind of surprised that 11 people showed up to photograph there on a Sunday, because not a whole lot was going on that day. It was great to catch up with old friends though, as well as chatting with a few new ones.

It is now April and I’ve just uploaded image number 94 of my 365 project to Instagram, which means I am well into the second quarter of it. I’ve got no intention to quit yet...it is still a lot of fun to try and come up with an image every day to upload.

Just south of the city of Lund the river Höje (well more of a creek these days) runs through the fields and narrow woodlands along it. It's also a nice place for a stroll or a jog if you're so inclined. I chose the first of those two options, and captured these photos along the banks of the creek.

March 17th is definitely one of those, if you're anywhere near a place where St.Patrick's Day is celebrated in some shape or form! Since Copenhagen is one of these places I've made it a tradition for me to go there to enjoy the sights and sounds of the day.
Read MoreIn the last few weeks I've done a marginally larger amount of street photography after quite a slump in the first weeks of this year. I guess it has to do with the light returning after the short, dark days of winter. After all us photographers are "chasing the light" most of the time, and I think people out and about at this time of year do the same!

This weekend I went to a local science fiction convention with my 13 year old nephew and much against my own character I didn’t take a camera with me. Weird huh? Well...not really. We were there two years ago, and then I tried to do both “baby” sitting and photography and that’s just not doable. Also, given how insanely crowded the place gets it wouldn’t really be possible for me to take any good photos had I been there on my own. My DSLR is just too big for that.

I’ve now done almost two months (complete but for one day) of my Instagram 365 project and it is still fun to do. I’m two twelfths, or one sixth if you will, done and hopefully I can keep this enthusiasm going well into the year.
